STEEL PLUS
DataVault
is a
revolutionary way to backup important data files. New
technology allows a large amount of data to be securely
backed up over conventional broadband connections,
presenting a massive improvement in the ability to cost
effectively protect your business from lost data.
The
service is totally secure and cost effective. It eliminates
costly backup tapes, time spent retrieving data, and the
risk that tapes were not adequately tested or taken off
site. It’s a managed service which means that we monitor
your backups and provide daily status emails to ensure
your data is protected.
Data Center
The
STEEL PLUS DataVault primary data center facility at the
Dallas Infomart provides the optimal backup environment.
This high specification class 1 data center space
includes high level physical security, power resilience
and multi-vendor communication services. Full system
resilience is provided through server virtualization and
enterprise-class storage with stateless failover
capability throughout. All data center facilities are
located on international telecommunications hubs.
Standard Features

We create a complete backup of each protected server.

Each server is then converted to a Virtual Machine and
connected to a VLAN matching the customer’s environment.
· Backup is implemented keeping
the customer machine updated to the replica in the data center.

The solution also saves previous copies of data enabling
roll-back to multiple different points in time.

In the event of a loss , the virtual servers are powered
on, and users access their applications via VPN.
